We are located at the corner of Leyland Trail and Colby Lake Drive in Woodbury, Minnesota.
Membership is limited to some of the homes in the Colby Lake subdivision (some had a chance to opt out in the beginning) and all of the homes in the Highland Estates subdivision (no opt out was available).
Membership is exclusive to those homes in Colby Lake that have memberships deeded to them and to all of the homes in Highland Estates.
Built by Orrin Thompson when he developed the Colby Lake & Highland Estates subdivisions in Woodbury, MN; our pool facility is managed by a volunteer board of directors voted in by the member community.
Funding is solely the responsibility of the members through payment of yearly member dues.
Our facility is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend each year.
Our staff includes approximately 20 certified lifeguards for the safety of our members during open swim and they teach our swim lessons. Our certified pool operator opens our pool and closes our pool each season, oversees the quality of our pool water, provides general pool maintenance and insures that we meet state board guidelines.
We have an administrator that handles member inquiries, member mailings, accounts receivables and accounts payables, hiring, supervision and scheduling of our guards. Our swim lesson coordinator sets the schedule for our Red Cross Certified swim lessons. |
