When does the pool open for the season?

For the 2026 season, the pool is scheduled to open May 23, 2026, weather permitting.

Why do closing times change during the season?

Closing times follow sunset as the days get shorter so the pool can operate safely with appropriate lighting.

Why might the pool close early on a given day?

The pool may close temporarily or early due to:

• thunderstorms or lightning
• severe weather

For safety reasons, lifeguard decisions regarding weather closures must be followed. Pool staff and lifeguards are responsible for making safety decisions on site. These decisions are made to protect members and staff and must be followed.
